Page 2 of 2 <br />Parks Commission Agenda <br />September 20, 2017 <br /> <br />Background <br />Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Commission <br />Meeting of September 20, 2017 <br />Hugo City Hall, 7:00 pm <br /> <br />Approve Minutes from August 16, 2017 Meeting <br />Staff recommends approval of the minutes of the Parks Commission meeting of August 16, 2017. <br />PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED MINUTES. <br /> <br />Existing Parks Survey <br />Parks Planner Shayla Denaway will provide photos and brief histories of the existing parks in Hugo. The <br />majority of Hugo’s neighborhood parks are around 10 years old. They have been well maintained, but there <br />may be opportunities to make minor enhancements to Hugo’s parks. Staff recommends that the Parks <br />Commission direct staff to do an in-depth review of the current conditions and bring back recommendations <br />for improvements and upgrades to Hugo’s existing parks. <br />THE EXISTING PARK AMENITIES CHART IS ATTACHED. <br /> <br />Updates <br />Staff will provide updates on a few projects and programs going on in Hugo. <br />THE SURVEYMONKEY ON PARKS RESULTS ARE ATTACHED. THE REGISTRATION FLYERS FOR THE TOUR DE HUGO ARE ATTACHED. <br /> <br /> <br />
