A curtesy notification has been sent to residents that live within 500 feet of the <br />park. Work to plant the three acres of pollinator habitat will be starting soon. <br />Lions Park Feasibility Study <br />Staff has been continuing to work with City Engineer, Mark Erichson to add additional information to the <br />Lions Park Feasibility study; including an evaluation of the current condition of the elements at the park, <br />guidance on involving stakeholders in the planning phases, and fundraising. A draft feasibility study will be <br />presented at a future Parks Commission meeting. <br />2040 Comprehensive Plan <br />Landform Inc provided a meeting summary from the March 22, 2017 Parks Commission meeting where the <br />Commissioners had discussed the Parks, Trails, and Open Space Plan. Kendra Lindahl, of Landform Inc will be <br />at the June 21, 2017 Parks Commission meeting to get input from the Commissioners for the 2040 <br />Comprehensive Plan update. <br />Summer Recreation Programs <br />The City of Hugo is partnering with the Forest Lake YMCA to offer Park Play Days at the Hanifl Fields Athletic <br />Park from June 12 through August 17, 2017. The Tech Tac Toe programs will be held in the Oneka Room at <br />Hugo City Hall during the months of June and July, 2017. The 6th annual Tour de Hugo bike ride will be held <br />on Saturday, September 23, 2017. <br />5.
