Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for September 16, 2019 <br />Page 6 of 7 <br />Yellow Ribbon Network Update <br />Council Member Chuck Haas and Council Member Phil Klein reported to Council on the Yellow <br />Ribbon Network activities held recently. The YRN received a Certificate of Appreciation from <br />the Air Force for participating in an event for the 133rd Air Wing. Food was donated by Spencer <br />Grundhofer, and 125 people were served. Xcel had a workday for a military family that the <br />YRN connected them with. The American Legion donated $200 to the YRN. Meat raffles will <br />begin at Sal's on October 5th. The Oakdale Fleet Farm and Fridley Senior Assisted Living were <br />collecting items for care packages. The YRN was able to provide emergency financial help for <br />an air force pilot, and they helped an active military member with travel expenses to visit their <br />six-month old son in the hospital. Volunteers were going to a deployment ceremony on <br />Saturday. Mueller Memorial was the next Burger Night sponsor. Pheasant Forever will be <br />holding a youth pheasant hunt at Wild Wings, the same day the Fry Group will be sponsoring <br />Rib Fest. A Welcome Home event will be held in St. Cloud on Sunday, and there are 30 soldiers <br />attending. <br />National Manufacturing Day at Wilson Tool on Friday, October 4, 2019 <br />Miron added this to the agenda to schedule a meeting for Friday, October 4, 2019, from 8:30 <br />a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Wilson Tool to celebrate National Manufacturing Day. Wilson Tool is <br />located at 12912 Farnham Avenue North. <br />Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to schedule a meeting to attend National Manufacturing <br />Day at Wilson Tool on Friday, October 4, 2019. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Burger Night Tuesday, September 24, 2019 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council a meeting was scheduled to attend Burger <br />Night on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at 5 p.m. at the Hugo American Legion. The <br />Department of Defense will be presenting Hugo with the Seven Seals Award. <br />Movie Night Friday, September 27, 2019 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear informed Council Outdoor Movie Night will be held on Friday <br />September 27, 2109, at the Hanifl Fields. The movie showing will be "Aladdin". The <br />Emergency Vehicle Show will be at 6:30 p.m. and the movie will begin at 7:30 p.m. <br />Klein made motion, Haas seconded, to schedule a meeting to attend Outdoor Movie Night on <br />September 27, 2019. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />
