J.1 Discussion on RCWD Watershed Management Plan 60-Day Review Period Comments The Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) has been preparing an update to its Watershed Management Plan (WMP) over the last several months. Staff has been involved in attending meetings and providing input and comments along the way as they developed the plan. The RCWD has provided a draft Watershed Management Plan for a 60-day review comment period. Comments are due October 9, 2019. Staff has drafted a letter to provide comments to the RCWD on the plan. Staff will present the comments for review and approval by the City Council at the meeting. L.1 Yellow Ribbon Network Update Council Member Chuck Haas and Council Member Phil Klein will report to Council on the Yellow Ribbon Network activities held recently. MA Rice Creek Watershed District JD3 Informational Meeting on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 Rice Creek Watershed District will be holding an informational meeting on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. at Hugo City Hall to provide information on the Judicial Ditch 3 repair project. This has been posted as a meeting if Council would like to attend. M.2 Press Publications Open House on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 The Council has been invited to attend the Open House at Press Publications (The Citizen) on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 4-6 p.m. at 4779 Bloom Ave., White Bear Lake. This has been posted as a meeting if Council would like to attend. M.3 Vacancies on Carnelian -Marine -St. Croix Watershed District and Brown's Creek Watershed District Carnelian -Marine -St. Croix Watershed District and the Brown's Creek Watershed District has notified the City of district manager vacancies. The County Board will select district managers from lists of nominees submitted by the municipalities. Applications can be found on the County website.
