Minutes <br /> Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Commission <br /> Meeting of June 19, 2019 <br /> Hugo City Hall, 7:00 pm <br /> Present: Dave Strub,Cathy Moore—Arcand, Mat Rauschendorfer, Nicole Schmid, Ranell Tennyson <br /> Absent: Roger Clarke,Shawn Haag <br /> Staff Present: Scott Anderson, Public Works Director <br /> Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner <br /> Amber Lozier,Administrative Assistant <br /> Strub called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br /> 1. Approval of Minutes from the May 15, 2019 Meeting <br /> Correction to agenda item#4—"208"changed to"2018" <br /> Rauschendorfer made a motion, Moore-Arcand seconded to approve the minutes of the May 15, 2019 Parks <br /> Commission meeting. <br /> All ayes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 2. Update on Trail Feasibility Study <br /> Denaway presented three trail concepts prepared by WSB and Associates for the area of 1301h Street and the <br /> Hardwood Creek Regional Trail. The pros and cons of each option were listed, including Regional Trail <br /> requirements, private roads versus public roads, and cost. <br /> Moore-Arcand stated concerns with the safety of concept 3,specifically the on-road trail portion.She also <br /> inquired as to whether or not Wilson Tool was supportive of trail construction. <br /> Rauschendorfer stated concerns about easements need with the conceptual trail layouts and future trail <br /> connections. He also stated the boardwalk structures in Concept 1 and 2 may affect the Regional Trail <br /> designation. <br /> Commissioners appreciated the connection to Oak Shore Park in Concept 1 and questioned whether concept <br /> features could be combined to allow for access to Oak Shore Park as well as Regional Trail designation. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> Parks Commission Minutes <br /> June 19,2010 <br />
