Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for November 18, 2019 <br />Page 5 of 5 <br /> <br />Santa program. Burger Night is next Tuesday and will be sponsored by the Washington County <br />Chapter of Disabled Veterans. <br /> <br />Update on Hugo Snowmobile Club <br /> <br />Mayor Weidt invited John Udstuen from the Hugo Snowmobile Club up to the podium to <br />provide an update. Udstuen talked about their goal to make safer trails, create tourism, and work <br />with residents who have trail related issues. He also talked about the MN DNR report that <br />showed all of Washington County was accident free last year. He stated they have been working <br />hard to keep tourism dollars in Hugo, and a U of M study found businesses get $42.22 tourism <br />dollars per snowmobiler trip. Udstuen commended Hugo landowner Richard Houde, who does <br />not snowmobile but did grant the club access over 880 feet of his property, which is making the <br />trail safer in that area. <br /> <br />Goodview Avenue Neighborhood Meeting on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 <br /> <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council a meeting was scheduled to attend the <br />Goodview Avenue Neighborhood meeting to discuss a potential street improvement project. The <br />meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, from 7-8 p.m. in the Oneka Room at <br />Hugo City Hall. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Klein made motion, Haas seconded, to adjourn at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />All Ayes.
