Strub made a motion,Tennyson seconded to approve the Capital Improvement Plan as drafted during the <br /> meeting. <br /> All ayes. Motion carried <br /> 4. Adelaide Landing Future Park Playground <br /> Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner gave an update on current construction of Adelaide Landing Park. <br /> Construction started fall of 2019 on the parking lot. Park construction will resume in the spring of 2020. <br /> Original partnership on construction cost sharing is no longer occurring but instead park dedication fees will <br /> be collected from the Excelsior Group. <br /> Commissioners provided input that they would like see in the playground proposals including athletic/net <br /> features like at Diamond Point Park, a zip line, a structure for a good mix of ages, but not separate <br /> structure for little kids, and no exercise equipment. <br /> Strub made a motion,Tennyson seconded for staff to send out request for proposals from playground <br /> vendors to be presented at a neighborhood meeting on March 18, 2020. The budgeting was set at$100,000. <br /> for play equipment and soft surfacing. <br /> All ayes. Motion carried. <br /> 5.
