RESOLUTION 2020- <br />APPROVING A COMPRHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT CHANGING TEXT <br />ON TABLE 4-11 EXISTING HOUSING NEEDS IMPLEMENTATION TOOLS IN <br />CHAPTER 4 HOUSING PLAN <br />WHEREAS, in order to be fully consistent with the Metropolitan Councils Housing <br />Policy and for the City to remain eligible for Livable Community Grant Funds, Chapter 4 <br />Housing Plan of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan needs to address all widely known <br />housing tools; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has revised Table 4-11 Existing Housing Needs <br />Implementation Tools to add language that the City will consider opportunities with the <br />4d Tax Program, Preservation of Naturally Occurring Affordable Housing (NOAH), and <br />Preservation of Existing Manufactured Housing; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve a <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment changing text on Table 4-11 Table 4-11 Existing <br />Housing Needs Implementation Tools in Chapter 4 Housing Plan. <br />ADOPTED by the City Council this 16ffi day of March, 2020 <br />Tom Weidt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
