RESOLUTION NO.2020-35 <br />CITY OF HUGO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION <br />ORDERING PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS TO ALL OR PORTIONS OF ROADWAYS IDENTIFIED AS THE <br />2021 DOWNTOWN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve all or portions of the following roadways and to potentially <br />assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429: <br />• 1471h Street from TH 61 to Oneka Parkway <br />• Upper 146th Street from Fitzgerald Avenue to Finale Avenue <br />• 1461h Street from Fitzgerald Avenue to Finale Avenue <br />• Finley Avenue from 1451h Street to Upper 146th Street <br />• Flay Avenue from 1471h Street north to cul-de-sac <br />• Fitzgerald Avenue from 1461h Street to 14711 Street <br />• Removal of existing Finale Avenue <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO, MINNESOTA: <br />That the proposed improvement, called the 2021 Downtown Improvement Project for study and <br />that the engineer is instructed to report to the council with all convenient speed advising the <br />council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost- <br />effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some <br />other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a description <br />of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels. <br />This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Hugo on the 20' day of July, <br />2020, by a vote of three Ayes and no Nays. <br />Tom Weidt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
