<br />H.1 Public Hearing on Drainage and Utility Easement Vacation for Hugo Gardens <br />Apartments <br /> <br />Hugo Garden Apartments, LLC, is requesting a vacation of the existing drainage and utility <br />easement located over Outlot B, LaValle Fields, on property west of Lions Park. The lot will be <br />final platted for the development of Hugo Gardens. New drainage and utility easements will be <br />placed on the lots at the time the final plat is recorded. Staff is comfortable with the applicant’s <br />requests to vacate the drainage and utility easements. Staff recommends that the City Council <br />approve the notice to vacate the drainage and utility easement located over Oulot B, LaValle <br />Fields. <br /> <br />I.1 Approve Final Plat and Development Agreement for Hugo Gardens Apartments <br /> <br />Hugo Garden Apartments, LLC is requesting approval for final plat and development agreement <br />for “Hugo Gardens” to allow construction of 84 apartment units in seven buildings on property <br />located west of Lions Park. The property is part of LaValle Fields PUD and Outlot B will be <br />platted as a single lot to accommodate the new apartments. Staff recommends approval of the <br />applications, subject to the findings and conditions listed in the resolutions and development <br />agreement. <br /> <br />I.2 Receive Bids and Award Contract for Public Works Facility <br /> <br />Bids for the Public Works facility project were received on August 11, 2020. Sixteen bids were <br />received with the low bid being submitted by Ebert Construction. The bidding documents <br />included six alternates. Public Works Director, Scott Anderson, and Project Architect, Jeff <br />Oertel, will provide Council with the results of the bid opening and review the six <br />alternates. Staff is recommending the award of a contract to Ebert Construction for the Base <br />Bid and six alternates the amount of $9,253,560. <br /> <br />L.1 Yellow Ribbon Network Update <br /> <br />Council Member Chuck Haas and Council Member Phil Klein will report to Council on the <br />recent activities of the Yellow Ribbon Network. <br /> <br />N.1 Adjournment
