<br /> <br />Do you have any special interests or skills or qualifications that we should consider in appointing <br />you to a stakeholder committee? <br /> <br />As mentioned, we founded a non-profit organization (kourageouskarter.org) designed to <br />help families and communities raising children with severe neurological conditions. I am <br />very motivated and passionate about this project, and have the “chops” to do some <br />major fundraising. In addition, my background in special education administration and <br />leadership roles will serve me well. I have presented and worked with various <br />stakeholder groups to bridge gaps between school and community throughout <br />experiences in my career. I have connections to groups that fund inclusive playgrounds, <br />and have helped design and accomplish similar goals. I also have experience in public <br />speaking. In fact, I will be speaking at the Crescent Cove Gala this year (usually 300+ <br />people) to raise awareness and money for their respite/hospice home (we utilize this). <br />We are all about giving back to organizations and communities that have impacted our <br />lives. We are grounded in the Hugo community, and would love to help promote and <br />draw people here!
