Due to the continued growth in our client base and our desire to provide clients with
more fresh food options, we are embarking on an addition to our building. The addition will house
a walk-in refrigerator and freezer. The units will have glass doors on one side for
clients/volunteers to use and will have a walk-in door on one end of the unit.
We have received grant funds from a Community Development Block Grant through Washington
County for this project. Those funds will cover about 75% of the cost of the project. We have
written other grants and are conducting fundraisers to fund the remaining portion.
I am writing today to ask if the city would be able to waive the application and building permit fees
for this project? We understand there are still some fees we will need to pay as they are fees from
entities other than the city.
Thank you for considering this request.
Sincerely,
Chris DuFresne
President
chris@chrisdufresne.com
651-592-1027
F.2
