PROPOSED MOTION: <br /> <br />Move approval of the attached notice vacating a public road easements located over a portion of <br />the property proposed for the Rice Lake Reserve development. <br /> <br />Move to approve the resolution approving the Final Plat and development agreement for Rice <br />Lake Reserve. Approval of the Final Plat requires a 3/5 vote of the City Council. <br /> <br />2. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting a vacation of the existing public road easement located over on a <br />portion of the property proposed to be developed as Rice Lake Reserve. The property will be <br />used for the development of Rice Lake Reserve and other future phases. New road easements <br />will be placed on the property at time the final plat is recorded over the new road locations. Staff <br />is comfortable with the applicant’s request to vacate the public road easements. <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting approval of a final plat in order to plat 42 lots and 6 outlots on the 51 <br />acre parcel located east of Goodview Avenue and north of Egg Lake Road (CSAH 8). The site is <br />currently has a couple homes on the property. <br /> <br />3. BACKGROUND: <br /> <br />The City Council reviewed will review an the preliminary plat and PUD for Rice Lake Reserve at <br />its January 6, 2020, meeting. The final plat will plat 41 lots from the Rice Lake Reserve 93 lot <br />
