RESOLUTION 2020-XX <br />APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AMENDMENT FOR <br />GRUNDHOFER'S OLD FASHIONED MEATS TO CONTINUE TO ALLOW <br />THE MEAT PROCESSING FACILITY ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />15449 FOREST BOULEVARD NORTH <br />WHEREAS, Grundhofer's Old Fashioned Meats requested approval of a conditional use <br />permit amendment to continue the meat processing facility on the property located at <br />15449 Forest Boulevard North and is legally described as follows: <br />(See Attached) <br />WHEREAS, a conditional use permit was approved on November 6, 2006 to allow a <br />meat processing facility as an accessory use to a meat market; <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the applicant to amend the conditional use permit approved <br />on November 6, 2006, to revise the site plan and to supersede all other prior conditional <br />use permit approvals. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said conditional use permit <br />amendment at a duly called public hearing on September 24, 2020, and recommends <br />approval subject to the conditions listed in the conditional use permit. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the <br />conditional use permit amendment for Grundhofer's Old Fashioned Meats on the <br />property located at 15449 Forest Boulevard North with the following findings: <br />1. The proposed use is allowed by conditional use permit and shall be accessory to <br />the meat market. <br />2. The proposed use is allowed in the C-2 zoning district and will keep with the <br />spirit and intent of the ordinance. The proposed use is compatible with the <br />surrounding development and will not alter the character of the area. <br />3. The proposed use will be adequately screened from adjacent residential uses and <br />public right-of-ways. <br />4. The proposed use has adequate access off of Forest Boulevard North. <br />5. The property is adequately served by utilities. <br />6. The applicant is not proposing to impact any floodplain or wetlands. <br />7. The applicant would be responsible for obtaining all state and local permits. <br />
