Duke Aerial Inc. <br />REBUILD SCOPE <br />FOR ELECTRIC SCISSOR LIFTS <br /> <br /> <br />The following outline provides an overview of the work scope for the rebuild of electric Scissor Lifts. This process <br />will apply to all scissor lift models, and is broken down into three (3) component areas: electrical, hydraulic, and <br />structural. <br /> <br />General Process <br /> <br />Electrical <br /> <br />Electrical components that will be replaced with new are as follows: <br />• Batteries to include battery cables. <br />• Platform control box toggles, E-stops; controller, and key switch. <br />• Battery charger and indicator with new or rebuilt <br />• Control cables routed to factory specification on scissor stack to platform control boxes <br /> <br />Hydraulic System <br /> <br />Hydraulic components that will be replaced with new are as follows: <br />• Hydraulic filter <br />• All cylinder seal kits-added to over and above <br />• Hydraulic drive hoses on compact series. <br />• Front bushings on compact series. <br /> <br />Hydraulic components that will be inspected and repaired/replaced as necessary: <br />• Hydraulic hoses found to be worn or chaffed will be replaced as required <br />• Cylinders: All cylinders will be rebuilt. Rods and/or barrel if needed. <br /> <br />The following outlines an inspection process to the remaining hydraulic components. These components <br />will be repaired/replaced if they will not pass inspection: <br />• Hydraulic Pump: Pumps will be performance checked for proper output pressure and capacity <br />• Hydraulic Drive Motors: Drive motors will be evaluated for leakage and output performance <br />• Cylinder rods that are scared and/or cannot be re-used will be replaced with new. <br /> <br /> <br />Structural <br /> <br />The following structural components will be replaced with new: <br />• Platform slider, deck pads <br />• New tires as originally specified on machines, added to over and above. <br />• Safety chain <br />• Pins and lanyards <br /> <br />A full structural evaluation will be performed on the frame, scissor stack and spindles housings. Cracks, bends or <br />other required repairs will be performed to correct. Machines will be repainted and reassembled with new decals, <br />placards, and serial number plate if missing. <br /> <br /> <br />Annual Inspection and Warranty <br /> <br />Each final product will be shipped with an updated ANSI-required annual inspection and comes with a one year <br />parts and labor warranty. <br />
