RESOLUTION NO. 2021-17 <br />A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF SOIL AND WATER RESOURCES <br />2021 CLEAN WATER FUND GRANT AGREEMENT FOR THE <br />COUNTY ROAD 8 STORMWATER REUSE PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to construct the County Road 8 Stormwater Reuse Project that includes a <br />pump station, irrigation system, and final surface restoration; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Hugo received notification of grant funding award as part of the Board of Soil <br />and Water Resources Clean Water Fund Competitive Grants Program in the amount of $392,400; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has received an approved workplan from the Board of Soil and Water Resources <br />for the County Road 8 Stormwater Reuse Project for a total estimated project cost of $729,000, where <br />the City of Hugo is responsible for approximately $110,600 of the total project cost. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO: <br />1. The County Road 8 Stormwater Reuse Project provides value to the residents and water <br />resources of the City of Hugo. <br />2. The Board of Soil and Water Resources Clean Water Fund Grant terms are acceptable for the <br />County Road 8 Stormwater Reuse Project and City of Hugo's requirements. <br />3.
