RESOLUTION 2021-21 <br />APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AMENDMENT FOR XCEL <br />ENERGY TO AMEND THE SITE PLAN FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />13620 FENWAY BOULEVARD NORTH <br />WHEREAS, Xcel Energy has requested approval of a conditional use permit amendment <br />to amend the site plan for the property located at 13620 Fenway Boulevard North and is <br />legally described as follows: <br />(See Attached) <br />WHEREAS, the site plan is in accordance with the variance to allow transmission <br />training poles to be up to 72 feet in height, where 50 feet is required by ordinance. <br />WHEREAS, a conditional use permit was approved on August 7, 2017, for an exterior <br />storage area and outdoor electric and gas training area; <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the applicant to amend the conditional use permit approved <br />on August 7, 2017, to revise the permit and to supersede all other prior conditional use <br />permit approvals. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said conditional use permit <br />amendment at a duly called public hearing on March 25, 2021, and recommends approval <br />subject to the conditions listed in the conditional use permit. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the <br />conditional use permit amendment for Xcel Energy on the property located at 13620 <br />Fenway Boulevard North with the following findings: <br />1. The development shall comply with the site plan dated February 5, 2021 (Exhibit <br />B). <br />2. The plans shall be revised to ensure pole #5 is not located within the existing <br />drainage and utility easement. Plans shall be reviewed and approved by staff. <br />3.
