Cat® Wheel Saws are designed for high-performance trench <br />cutting on a variety of hard or compact surfaces, such as <br />asphalt, reinforced concrete and rocky or frozen ground. <br />They allow for cutting and trenching to be performed in a <br />single pass. Wheel Saws are ideal for asphalt patch cutting, <br />road expansion joint cuts, and utility trenching. <br />Features: <br />Direct drive system <br />„„ Direct drive system features a hydraulic radial piston <br />motor to ensure maximum cutting rate and wheel torque <br />for optimal production performance and efficiency. <br />Hydraulic side-shift and depth control <br />„„ Hydraulic side-shift and depth control is standard on all <br />models and is controlled from the operator’s compartment. <br />Hydraulic side-shift allows wheel positioning from center <br />to the far right of center. This allows for cutting close to <br />curbs, walls and other obstructions, and minimizes need <br />to reposition the machine. <br />Max Pro Pressure Gauge <br />„„Max Pro Pressure Gauge provides operator feedback <br />to adjust ground speed for maximum productivity in <br />changing material loads. Gauge displays saw performance <br />in real-time conditions and is visible from the cab. <br />Standard on all models. <br />Deflector plates <br />„„Deflector plates remove spoil from the machine’s path <br />for smooth operation. Spoil can be discharged left, right, <br />or on both sides of the wheel saw with installation of <br />included blanking plates. <br />Flaps for debris suppression <br />„„Rubber flaps on either side of the attachment prevent the <br />spread of loose debris during operation. <br />Self standing <br />„„Self standing frame design improves connection <br />and parking without the need for operator adjustments <br />outside the cab. <br />Serrated Steps <br />„„Serrated steps allow for safe and easy access in and out of <br />the cab. An additional center step provides more stability <br />and shorter step lengths by the operator. <br />OMM container <br />„„OMM (Operation and Maintenance Manual) is stored <br />in a protective case on the attachment, where it can be <br />conveniently accessed. <br />Bit options <br />„„ Concrete conical bits are standard on all models. Optional <br />all purpose, heavy duty concrete, and heavy duty asphalt <br />bits are also available. Tools to change out the bits <br />are included. <br />Wheel width options <br />„„Models are available with wheel widths of 80, 100, 130, <br />160, 200, 250 mm (3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 inches) to suit a <br />variety of needs. <br />Optional trench cleaning device <br />„„The trench cleaning device is hydraulically operated from <br />the operator’s compartment. The blade can be controlled <br />up and down to remove spoil and ensure a clean trench. <br />Available on 100, 130, 160, 200 mm (4, 5, 6 and 8 inch) <br />wheel widths. <br />Optional guide bar <br />„„Guide bar allows operator to position wheel saw for a <br />straight cut and aids in visibility. <br />Water kit ready <br />„„Ports are strategically located to equip wheel saw with <br />a water sprinkler kit along the hood.
