RESOLUTION 2021-67 <br />APPROVING AN INTERIM USE PERMIT TO ALLOW FARMHAND LIVING <br />QUARTERS ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 15250 HOMESTEAD AVENUE <br />NORTH <br />WHEREAS, Fran and Mary Ann Miron have requested approval of an interim use permit <br />to allow farmhand living quarters on property located at 15250 Homestead Avenue <br />North. <br />WHEREAS, the property is legally described as Section 15, Township 031, Range 021 <br />SE1/4-SWl/4 15321 EXC PL 93015-2520 HUGO <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said conditional use permit at a duly <br />called public hearing on September 23, 2021, and recommends approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the <br />interim use permit to allow farmhand living quarters on property located at 15250 <br />Homestead Avenue North, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The applicant shall meet all requirements for Farmhand Living Quarters under <br />section 90-276 of the City Code. <br />2. The living quarters shall meet all zoning and building code requirements. <br />3. Prior to the occupancy of the farmhand living quarters, a building permit shall be <br />issued and all required work shall be completed. <br />4. The living quarters shall not be used or rented out for any purpose other than <br />agriculture. <br />5. Within 12 months of the date that agricultural operations on the property cease, <br />the second dwelling shall be removed or the property shall be subdivided and <br />meet all City Code requirements. <br />ADOPTED by the City Council this 4th day of October 2021. <br />4 <br />Tom Weidt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
