to apply for up to $40,000 per year for the Washington County Pre -development Grant. Staff also <br />provided an overview of the existing land use on the property owned by Marvin and Judith LaValle <br />and the benefits of an AUAR on the property. <br />UPDATE ON DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT <br />Staff has been meeting with Denny Trooien on his Downtown Hugo property along Egg Lake. Trooien <br />is continuing to work on his site plan and is working with the MN DNR on permitting. Following <br />general approval from the DNR, Trooien will apply for City approval. The EDA Commissioners <br />discussed the project and encouraged staff to continue to support and work with Trooien. <br />UPDATE ON LIONS PARK REDEVELOPMENT AND DOWNTOWN STREET IMPROVEMENTS <br />Staff provided an update on the construction happening in Lions Park and the Downtown Street <br />Improvement project. Staff also provided an update development throughout the City. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Commissioner Puleo made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Gallivan, to adjourn at 6:28 pm. <br />Ayes: Chrun, Gallivan, Klein, Puleo, Roberts. <br />Nay: None.
