for all Hugo residents, managing and optimizing existing parks and trails, expanding community park, and <br />administer the Parks, Trails and Open Space Plan and policies. New projects included the replacement of the <br />playground at Beaver Ponds Park with the existing equipment in Lions Park, a trail study of the area north of <br />Lions Park, and reviewing the Park Naming Policy. <br />Discussion included using SHIP funds and working collaboratively with RCWD on the trail study. <br />Strub requested prioritizing water feature options to access water recreation with continue planning at <br />Oneka Lake and Sunset Lake access. <br />Commissioners asked for an update from the Bernins in regards to the future of the city -owned property on <br />Oneka Lake. <br />Moore-Arcand made a motion, Strub seconded approve the 2021 Goals of the Parks Commission. <br />Ayes: Dave Strub, Roger Clarke, Cathy Moore-Arcand, Nicole Schmid, Ranelle Tennyson. <br />Motion approved. <br />4. Other <br />Scott Anderson, Public Works Director updated on the New Public Works Facility construction. Driveway and <br />roads have been graveled and general site work, including the stormwater ponds, is completed. Not much <br />will change at the site over the winter except for material delivery. Some delays were experience due to the <br />pandemic with construction of the building. Construction will start up again in the spring with a late fall/ <br />early winter move -in goal. <br />5.
