Final Plat and Development <br />Agreement for Rice lake Reserve 2nd Addition <br />DATE: February 1, 2022, for the City Council Meeting of February 7, 2022 <br />1.PROPOSED MOTION: <br />Move to approve the resolution approving the final plat and development agreement for Rice <br />Lake Reserve 2nd Addition. Approval of the Final Plat requires a 3/5 vote of the City Council. <br />2.DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br />The applicant is requesting approval of a final plat in order to plat 31 lots and 2 outlots on the <br />parcel located east of Goodview Avenue and north of Egg Lake Road (CSAH 8) as phase two of <br />the Rice Lake Reserve development. <br />The City Council reviewed and approved the preliminary plat and PUD for Rice Lake Reserve at <br />its January 6, 2020, meeting. The final plat for phase two will plat 31 lots from the Rice Lake <br />Reserve preliminary plat. The lots meet the minimum lot standards and requirements outlined in <br />the regulations for the Rice Lake Reserve PUD. <br />The park dedication requirement will be met by fee for a total of $105,500 ($3,400 per unit). <br />4.RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval the resolution approving the Final Plat and Development Agreement <br />for Rice Lake Reserve, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney. <br />G.14
