<br /> <br />March 7, 2022 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />City of Hugo <br />14669 Fitzgerald Avenue North <br />Hugo, MN 55038 <br /> <br /> <br />Re: 140th Street Extension Project <br /> Approve Plans and Specifications and Authorize the Advertisement for Bids <br /> WSB Project No. 019520-000 <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Mayor and Council, <br /> <br />Previously the Council had authorized staff to prepare plans and specifications for the 140th Street <br />Extension Project. Proposed improvements for the project include construction of watermain, storm <br />sewer and street west of Fenway Avenue, extending approximately 600 feet west of the existing <br />road segment. This project has previously been added to the City Streets Capital Improvement <br />Plan (CIP) and the extension will facilitate expansion of the Schwieters campus development. <br />Assessments to Schwieters will be applied as previously outlined. <br /> <br />Plans and Specifications have been prepared for the 140th Street Extension Project and are ready <br />to be advertised for bidding. Staff is requesting approval of the plans and specifications for the <br />project and authorization to advertise for bids. Staff will place the advertisement for bids which is <br />required to run for a minimum of 21 days. Plans and Specifications are available for your review <br />at City Hall.
