RESOLUTION NO.2022 - 11 <br />CITY OF HUGO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING COOPERATIVE CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND WHITE BEAR LAKE <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW SIGNAL SYSTEM AT THE <br />ELEMENTARY ENTRANCE AT THE INTERSECTION OF TH 61 AND 152ND STREET <br />WHEREAS, THE City of Hugo is a political subdivision, organized and existing under the laws of the <br />State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hugo has approved the construction documents for the <br />construction of the new elementary school and entrance off of TH 61 and 152nd Street, requiring a new signal <br />system; and <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation requires a Cooperative Construction <br />Agreement for the construction of said improvement including the signal system. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The City of Hugo hereby enters into a Cooperative Construction Agreement with the State of <br />Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes: <br />To provide for maintenance by the City of Hugo for the associated construction to be <br />performed upon, along, and adjacent to Trunk Highway No. 61 from 690 feet south of 152nd <br />Street North to 672 feet north of 152nd Street North within the corporate City limits under <br />State Project No. 8206-52 (T.H. 61=001) (pedestrian facilities, minor signal maintenance, and <br />power). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />1. The City Administrator and the Mayor are authorized to execute the Cooperative Construction <br />Agreement and any amendments to the Permit. <br />Council members voting AYE: Klein, Petryk, Strub, Weidt <br />Council members voting NAY: None <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 71 day of March 2 <br />Tom Weidt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
