PLANNING COMMISSION UPDATE: <br /> <br />At its April 14, 2022, meeting the Planning Commission held a public hearing and considered the <br />request. There was no one that spoke during the public hear except the applicant with <br />background information on the request. Staff stated the application met the conditions to approve <br />the request and recommended approval of the minor subdivision, subject to the conditions listed <br />in the resolution. The Planning Commission agreed the application meet the criteria to approve a <br />minor subdivision and unanimously recommended approval of the resolution to the City Council. <br /> <br />2. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting approval of a minor subdivision to create two lots out of a 19.84 acre <br />lot. The lots created would be two 9.92 acre parcels. <br /> <br />3. CONTEXT: <br /> <br />A. Surrounding Land Use and Zoning <br /> <br />The surrounding properties to the north, east and south are zoned Agricultural and are developed <br />as agricultural or residential homes. <br /> <br />B. Natural Characteristics of Site <br /> <br />The property is has some rolling hills and has been farmed in recent years. <br />
