PLANNING COMMISSION UPDATE: <br /> <br />At its May 26, 2022, meeting the Planning Commission held a public hearing and considered the <br />request. Staff recommended approval of the preliminary plat and PUD. There was one person <br />that spoke during the public hearing. They had questions about tree removal and construction <br />access for the development. The Planning Commission agreed that the request met the <br />requirements necessary to approve the preliminary plat and PUD. The Planning Commission <br />unanimously recommended approval of the preliminary plat and PUD, subject to the conditions <br />in the resolutions. <br /> <br />2. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting approval of a Preliminary Plat and Planned Unit Development (PUD) <br />for a residential development. The property totals 131.66 acres and is comprised of three parcels. <br />The preliminary plat includes 218 residential lots, and 10 outlots to be known as “The Shores of <br />Oneka Lake”. The housing types are proposed to be a combination of single family homes, villa <br />homes, and twinhomes. The villa homes and twinhomes will be maintenance provided for
