Squyres provided sales <br />information on the overall market. Hugo was in the top 25 of metro communities with new <br />construction market share with 29% of it. Mortgage rates were continuing to rise and Squyres <br />stated it will be interesting to see how it affects the market. He said valuation notices went out <br />on March 15. Hugo’s Board of Appeal and Equalization will meet on Thursday, April 7, 2022, <br />for property owners who want to appeal their market value or classification. <br /> <br />Approval of Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br /> <br />1. Approve Claims Roster <br />2. Approve Donation to the Hugo Fire Department from the Hugo American Legion <br />3. Approve Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit for Hugo Yellow Ribbon Network <br />Fundraiser on May 7, 2022, at the Hugo American Legion <br />4. Approve Memorandum of Understanding with Washington County for CSAH8/Oneka <br />Parkway Traffic Signal <br />5. Approve Resolution Electing the Standard Allowance Available Under the Revenue <br />Loss Provision of the American Rescue Plan Act <br />6. Approve Request for Bids for Water Tower No. 2 Demolition Project <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Approve Claims Roster <br /> <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Claims Roster as presented. <br /> <br />Approve Donation to the Hugo Fire Department from the Hugo American Legion <br /> <br />The Hugo American Legion had requested to donate $1,000 to the Hugo Fire Department for <br />equipment. Donations to the Fire Department needed to be approved by the Council. Adoption <br />of the Consent Agenda approved the donation of $1,000 from the Hugo American Legion to the <br />Hugo Fire Department. <br /> <br />Approve Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit for Hugo Yellow Ribbon Network Fundraiser on <br />May 7, 2022 at the Hugo American Legion <br /> <br />The Hugo Yellow Ribbon Network had requested a Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit to hold a <br />raffle during a fundraiser to be held on May 7, 2022, at the Hugo American Legion. Permits <br />needed to be approved by the Council before being approved by the MN Gambling Control <br />Board. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit for the <br />Hugo Yellow Ribbon. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
