RESOLUTION 2022-41 <br />CITY OF HUGO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION <br />ORDERING PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS TO ALL OR PORTIONS OF ROADWAYS IDENTIFIED <br />AS THE 2023 BIRCH TREE PONDS AREA STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve all or portions of Fountain Avenue North, 135a` Street <br />North, 135t' Court North, 138`h Street North, Freeland Court North, Freeland Avenue North, <br />Geneva Avenue North, Foxhill Avenue North, and two stub streets extending south from 135' <br />Street North and to potentially assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the <br />improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />That the proposed improvement, called the 2023 Birch Tree Ponds Area Street Improvement <br />Project is authorized for study and that the engineer is instructed to report to the council with all <br />convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed <br />improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as <br />proposed or in connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement <br />as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments <br />for affected parcels. a. <br />This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Hug n the 5t' day of July, 2022, <br />by a vote of five Ayes and no Nays. <br />Tom Weidt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
