The average water used for irrigation
along County Road 8 and proposed developments in this area is estimated to be 14 million gallons
annually. This project is estimated to reduce potable water usage by 14 million gallons.
APPROXIMATELY 6,000 SQUARE FEET OF
RECONSTRUCTED TRAIL
—
Existing trail is degraded and reconstruction of the trail is planned by the City.
The trail will provide a community connection for pedestrians between Elmcrest
Ave N and Oneka Parkway. The trail reconstruction has no permanent stormwater
management requirements.
FUTURE PUMP STATION LOCATION
—
A pump station will be installed at the existing
stormwater pond to draw water from the pond to be
used for irrigation along County Road 8, City Hall,
Lions Park, and future developments in the area.
Proposed Pump Station
Proposed Non-potable Watermain
CSAH 8 Stormwater Pond
Proposed Irrigation Boundary
PS
