<br /> <br />CITY OF HUGO <br /> <br />PARKS COMMISSION REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Bryan Bear, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Construction Payment Request #13 <br /> Lions Park Pavilion <br /> Schreiber Mullaney Construction <br /> <br />DATE: September 15, 2022 for the City Council meeting of September 19, 2022 <br /> <br /> <br />1. BACKGROUND: <br /> <br />Please find the enclosed application for payment for the City of Hugo Lions Park <br />Pavilion in the amount of $32,519.10. The quantities completed to date have been <br />reviewed and agreed upon by the architect, contractor and city staff. <br /> <br />This pay request includes a change order in the amount of $27,352.63. The change order <br />was for nine items including $15,284.32 for adjustments to the south window heights. <br />Other items included furnace pads, signage changes, hardware changes, fire extinguisher <br />cabinets, and baby changing stations. This is the fourth change order. The change orders <br />total $119,574.42. The revised contract amount is $3,142,464.42 and is within the <br />contingency estimate. <br /> <br />This is the thirteenth payment request and the amount indicated above reflects the work <br />certified through August 31, 2022. A 5% retainage is applied and the total retainage <br />being held for the project to date is $156,909.46 <br /> <br /> <br />2. RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff recommends the City Council approve payment request #13 in the amount of <br />$32,519.10 to Schreiber Mullaney Construction.
