Motion carried. <br /> <br />Approve Minutes for the July 25, 2022, Preliminary Budget Workshop <br /> <br />Klein made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the Preliminary Budget <br />Workshop held on July 25, 2022, as presented. <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Approval of Agenda <br /> <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried <br /> <br />Approve Special Event Permit for Ribfest on September 24, 2022 <br /> <br />The Hugo Lions Club requested approval of a Special Event Permit to hold Ribfest on <br />September 24, 2022, at Hanifl Park Shelter and Fields. This fundraising event would consist of a <br />rib cooking contest and Corn Hole tournament. Lions Member Jason Schwieger presented their <br />plan to Council and requested the Council co-sponsor the event by waiving the Special Event <br />Permit fee and providing Washington County deputies. <br /> <br />Jason explained the Rib Contest was usually held during Good Neighbor Days but became too <br />big of an event. He said one of the judges would be the Mayor and he was hoping to get <br />someone from Washington County Water Rescue.
