Council Meeting Minutes for May 1, 2023 <br />Page 6 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />approving the Final Plat and Development Agreement for Rice Lake Reserve 3rd Addition, <br />subject to review and approval by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Mayor Weidt opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Eugene Zerwas, 6732 Egg Lake Road, said staff was going to work with them to move the road <br />on the northernmost portion and put it more on their property. If it goes the way it’s shown, it <br />will make his lot useless. He wanted it in the record that the City had agreed to work with him on <br />the new road alignment. <br /> <br />There were no other comments, and Mayor Weidt closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Weidt made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the notice to vacate the public road easement <br />located over a portion of the property proposed for the Rice Lake Reserve 3rd Addition <br />development. <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to approve RESOLUTION 2023-6 APPROVING A <br />FINAL PLAT AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR M/I HOMES OF <br />MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL, LLC, FOR RICE LAKE RESERVE 3rd ADDITION, subject to <br />review by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Schedule Performance Review for City Administrator <br /> <br />Bryan Bear had been employed with the City since May 3, 2004. Bryan served as the <br />Community Development Director until being appointed the City Administrator on November, <br />7, 2011. Staff requested Council schedule the annual performance review for City Administrator <br />Bryan Bear. <br /> <br />Miron made motion, Klein seconded, to schedule the performance review for Monday, June 5, <br />2023, at 6 p.m. prior to the regular Council meeting at 7 p.m. <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Schedule Bernin Park Community Meeting on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 5-7 p.m. <br /> <br />At the meeting of April 19, 2023, the Parks Commission set a date for a community meeting to <br />review the approved master plan for the Bernin property. The meeting would be held on <br />Tuesday, June 27, in the Oneka Room at City Hall. Residents would be invited to attend an <br />informational presentation at 5:30 pm followed by an open house until 7:00 pm. A proposal was <br />approved by Council at the March 20, 2023, meeting from WSB and Associates to render the <br />2004 master plan for the property. The Oneka Lake Park amenities and other minor changes <br />were included, and the master plan was ready for review by the public. <br /> <br /> <br />
