The application was considered complete on
March 30, 2023, and a subsequent notice of application was issued on April 4, 2023. The
comment period for the application expired on April 28, 2023; no comments were received.
The purpose of the project is to extend Oneka Parkway 1,000 feet north to provide access to a
residential community.
A wetland boundary and type application was approved on March 23, 2023 and identified two (2)
wetland basins within the project area. Vegetative communities represented by these wetlands
include seasonally flooded basins. They provide the following wetland functions:
•Surface water detention
•Nutrient Transformation
•Carbon Sequestration
•Sediment and Particulate Retention
•Waterfowl and Waterbird Habitat
•Other Wildlife Habitat
Multiple alternatives were considered for this project to avoid and minimize impacts to wetlands.
The total amount of impact to on site wetlands using the preferred alternative is 0.31 acres. This
amount of impact must be replaced and is proposed to be replaced using wetland bank credits.
The required wetland replacement ratio is 2.5:1; however, the proposed wetland bank is within
the same bank service area (BSA) 7, which allows a reduction of 0.5:1; resulting in a required
replacement ration of 2:1.
G.10
