S:\Office_SHARED\Resolutions\2023 Resolutions\2023- 2024 Street Feasibility Study.doc <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS TO ALL OR PORTIONS OF ROADWAYS IDENTIFIED <br />AS THE 2024 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve all or portions of the following roadways: <br /> <br /> Heather Avenue / Upper Heather Avenue between 125th Street (west access) and 125th <br />Street (east access) <br /> Heather Avenue between Upper Heather Avenue 120th Street <br /> 125th Street between Goodview Avenue and 120th Street <br /> <br />and to potentially assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the <br />improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Hugo, <br />Minnesota, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the proposed improvement study, to be referred to as the 2024 Street <br />Improvement Project, and the engineer is instructed to report to the Council with <br />all convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the <br />proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether it <br />should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement; <br />the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a description of the <br />methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels. <br /> <br />Council members voting AYE: <br /> <br />Council members voting NAY: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 10th day of July 2023. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />________________________ <br /> Tom Weidt, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />___________________________________ <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
