<br />S:\Office_SHARED\Resolutions\2023 Resolutions\2023 Receive Bids Award Contract 159th and TH61.doc <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONTRACT <br />FOR THE TH 61 & 159TH STREET RECONSTRUCTION <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Hugo previously directed the City Engineer to advertise for <br />bids for the above-referenced project, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were publicly received and opened on Friday, July 21, 2023. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Hugo, <br />Minnesota, as follows: <br /> <br />1. All bids for the construction of the TH 61 & 159th Street Reconstruction have <br />been received and are tabulated on the attached summary. <br /> <br />2. The bid of Arnt Construction Company, Inc., in the amount of $2,161,729.90 for <br />the construction of said improvements, is in accordance with the plans and <br />specifications and advertisement for bids and is the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />3. The Mayor and Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and <br />on behalf of the City of Hugo. <br /> <br />4.
