Conditional use permit renewal for the property located at <br />5777 165th Street North. <br /> <br />DATE: November 2, 2023, for the City Council meeting on November 6, 2023 <br /> <br />ZONING: Restricted Industrial (R-1) <br /> <br />LAND USE: Industrial (IND) <br /> <br /> <br />1. OVERVIEW: <br /> <br />The property has a CUP to operate a land clearing and recycling of tree waste business located at <br />5777 165th Street North. Condition 1 of the permit states that it shall be subject to renewal every <br />24 months. The last CUP renewal was on December 6, 2021. <br /> <br />2. ANALYSIS: <br /> <br />Staff inspected the property on October 2, 2023, and noted that the applicant is conducting the <br />same operation on the property but the intensity of the use over the last several years has <br />declined. Staff is not aware of any violations of the existing conditional use permit. Staff has not <br />received any complaints about the use on the property. <br /> <br />2. CONCLUSION/RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff finds that the property is in compliance with the CUP.
