RESOLUTION NO. 2023- <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION NOT TO WAIVE STATUTORY TORT LIABILITY LIMITS <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, cities obtaining liability coverage from the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust <br />must decide whether or not to waive the statutory tort liability limits to the extent of the coverage <br />purchased. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, statutory tort liability limits would apply regardless of whether or not the city purchases <br />optional excess liability coverage. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO: <br /> <br />1. The City of Hugo does not waive the statutory tort liability limits. <br /> <br />2.
