Established
in 1976, the center was founded in response
to the vision of Forest Lake Police Chief, Jim
Trudeau, and other leaders, who recognized
the need for a proactive intervention
program to divert young people and first-
time offenders away from the traditional
court system. Lakes Center for Youth and
Families continues to uphold its mission
of ensuring the success of youth, adults,
and families through programming in
Counseling, Intervention, and Enrichment
to meet the ever-changing needs of our
community. We are grateful for our valuable
partnerships with law enforcement, school
districts, and community members.
Rick Peterson
93% OF LAKES CENTER CLIENTS RANGE IN AGES FROM 3-20.
