Approximately 80 percent of their clients are youth and their <br />families, but they do serve people of all ages. NYFS is run by a board of 18 members largely <br />comprised of City Council members. <br />Angela talked about their mission, vision, and values. Their strategic plan launched in 2023 <br />focused on early prevention. In the past year, they served 603 clients with a total of 11,630 <br />appointments. The top three diagnoses were anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress <br />disorders. Revenues come from municipal contracts, rental income, grants, contributions, <br />investments, and the largest portion from program service fees. The largest expense is for <br />mental health services. She provided details on their mental health programs and community <br />service programs. The past year was spent on stabilizing, refreshing, and growing. In the next <br />12 months they plan on expanding their team, developing additional group therapy services, and <br />launching domestic and sexual violence programs. <br />Approval of Consent Agenda <br />Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />All Ayes.
