Minutes for the Planning Commission Meeting of Thursday, May 26, 2022 <br /> Chair Kleissler called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br /> PRESENT: Arcand, Derr, Kleissler, Petty <br /> ABSENT: Lessard <br /> STAFF: Rachel Juba, Community Development Director <br /> Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner <br /> Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> Approval of Minutes for the Planning Commission Meeting of April 28, 2022 <br /> Commissioner Petty made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Derr to approve minutes for the <br /> meeting of April 28, 2022. <br /> Ayes: Derr, Kleissler, Petty <br /> Abstain: Arcand <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Public Hearing: Cathleen Pastorius- Request for a lot split for the property located at 5342 142nd <br /> Street North. <br /> Staff provided a background on the request submitted by Cathy Pastorius for a lot split of property <br /> located at 5342 142nd Street North. The applicant is requesting approval of a lot split to create two lots <br /> out of a 1.23 acre lot. The proposed lots are 0.73 acres and 0.50 acres. The property was platted with <br /> the Oneka Estates development located north of the Bald Eagle Industrial Park. Sewer and water <br /> connections will come from 142nd Street and SAC and WAC fees will need to be paid in addition to the <br /> park dedication fee. A grading plan will have to be submitted to the City prior to the issuance of a <br /> building permit for the proposed lot. The properties are in the Single Family Detached Residential (R-3) <br /> zoning district which requires a minimum lot size of 10,400 square feet and a minimum lot width at the <br /> front setback line of 80 feet. Both proposed lots meet the minimum standards outlined in the zoning <br /> code. <br /> Staff recommended the Planning Commission open the public hearing and hear public comment. Staff <br /> recommended approval of the lot split, subject to the conditions in the resolution. <br /> Chair Kleissler Chair Kleissler invited the applicant, Cathleen Pastorius, at 5342 142nd Street North, <br /> Hugo, MN 55038 to address the Commission. They did not wish to comment. <br /> Chair Kleissler opened the public hearing at 7:03pm. No comments were received. <br />
