The Commission’s did not like the idea of changing the land use to allow the <br />apartment in the location proposed. The stated that it is proposed to be a key intersection in the <br />City and highly visible and best fit commercial uses. They encouraged the applicant to find a <br />better place on the property, behind the commercial areas for an apartment use. <br />The applicant has taken the feedback from the Planning Commission and the EDA and is <br />proposing a new sketch plan for review. <br />2.DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br />The properties are generally located in the area south of Frenchman Road/CSAH 8 and west of <br />TH 61. The property owner, Marvin LaValle, as signed a contact with the applicant, Peter <br />Stalland to develop the property. <br />The applicant revised the sketch plan from the comments received from the EDA and Planning <br />Commission. The applicant is requesting review and comments on a sketch plan for development <br />of the properties with residential and commercial uses. These are informal nonbinding comments <br />to the applicant on the plan. <br />F.1
