Minutes for the Planning Commission Meeting of Thursday, August 10, 2023 <br /> Chair Kleissler called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br /> PRESENT: Arcand, Derr, Granger, Kelly, Kleissler, Lessard, Petty <br /> ABSENT: Andress <br /> STAFF: Rachel Juba, Community Development Director <br /> Max Gort, Associate Planner <br /> Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> Approval of Minutes for the Planning Commission Meeting of July 13, 2023 <br /> Commissioner Petty made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Lessard, to approve the minutes for <br /> the Planning Commission meeting of July 13, 2023. <br /> Ayes: Derr, Granger, Kelly, Kleissler, Lessard, Petty. <br /> Abstain: Arcand. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Public Hearing: Minor Subdivision —Joseph and Lisa Gadbois, 8860 152nd Street North <br /> Staff gave background on the proposed Minor Subdivision for the property at 8860 152nd Street North. <br /> The property owners, Joseph and Lisa Gadbois, requested to split their 19.95 acre property into two <br /> parcels at 9.97 and 9.98 acres in size. The existing home will remain on the proposed parcel to the east. <br /> The property is zoned and guided in the Comprehensive Plan as Agricultural (AG). Properties in the AG <br /> zoning district have a minimum lot size of 10 acres. However, after performing some historical research <br /> on the property, staff is considering the proposed parcels to be 10 acres. Staff is of the opinion that the <br /> proposal meets the necessary criteria of approval, and recommended approval of the Minor <br /> Subdivision subject to the conditions listed in the resolution. <br /> The applicants,Joseph and Lisa Gadbois, were in attendance. Joseph Gadbois commented that they <br /> had no comments. <br /> Chair Kleissler opened the Public Hearing at 7:03 PM <br /> No one spoke. <br /> Chair Kleissler closed the Public Hearing at 7:04 PM. <br /> Commissioner Arcand stated that the proposed minor subdivision looked good. <br />
