Minutes for the Planning Commission Meeting of Thursday, August 24, 2023 <br /> Chair Kleissler called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br /> PRESENT: Arcand, Derr, Granger, Kelly, Kleissler, Lessard <br /> ABSENT: Andress, Petty <br /> STAFF: Rachel Juba, Community Development Director <br /> Max Gort, Associate Planner <br /> Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> Approval of Minutes for the Planning Commission Meeting of July 13, 2023 <br /> Commissioner Petty made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Lessard, to approve the minutes for <br /> the Planning Commission meeting of August 10, 2023. <br /> All ayes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Public Hearing: Minor Subdivision —Heidi Harvieux,Jody Avenue North <br /> Staff gave background on the proposed Minor Subdivision for property on Jody Avenue North. The <br /> property owner, Heidi Harvieux, requested to split the 40.06 acre property into two parcels at 30.06 <br /> and 10.00 acres in size.. The property is zoned and guided in the Comprehensive Plan as Agricultural <br /> (AG). Properties in the AG zoning district have a minimum lot size of 10 acres. Staff is of the opinion <br /> that the proposal meets the necessary criteria of approval, and recommended approval of the Minor <br /> Subdivision subject to the conditions listed in the resolution. <br /> Chair Kleissler opened the Public Hearing at 7:04 PM <br /> No one spoke. <br /> Chair Kleissler closed the Public Hearing at 7:04 PM. <br /> Commissioner Arcand stated that the proposed minor subdivision looked good. <br /> Commissioner Arcand made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Granger, to recommend approval of <br /> the Minor Subdivision request for the property located on Jody Avenue North <br /> All ayes. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
