Post -High School Education Opportunities <br />16 Washington County <br />Labor Supply Study <br />March 2023 <br />There were a total of 1,929 awards <br />conferred at the two post-high school <br />accredited institutions based in <br />Washington County in the 2021 school <br />year, with Liberal Arts and Sciences <br />Associate degrees having the highest <br />volume of awards conferred (426 awards <br />from CIP 24-0101). Over half (59.4%) of <br />completions were Associate’s degrees, <br />22.6% were certificates that take less <br />than one academic year, 16.3% were <br />certificates taking one to two years, and <br />1.7% were awards taking more than two <br />years but less than four to complete. <br />About 29% of all completions were <br />achieved through distance-offered <br />programs.
