Drafting of Revised Guidelines: Based on the findings from the review, stakeholder engagement, and best <br />practices research, our team will present recommendations and draft new multifamily design guidelines. These <br />guidelines will address key aspects such as building scale and massing, architectural style, landscaping, open <br />space requirements, parking, and sustainability features. The guidelines will be written in a clear and user-friendly <br />manner, ensuring ease of implementation for developers and clarity for City staff. <br /> <br />6. Comprehensive Plan Recommendations. We will review the 2040 Comprehensive Plan and draft a memo with <br />recommended changes to be considered with the 2050 Comprehensive Plan update. <br /> <br />7. Public Process: Based on the feedback received during the public review process, our team will make necessary <br />revisions to the draft guidelines and prepare a final version for adoption by the City of Hugo. We will provide <br />support and guidance throughout the adoption process, including presentations to City officials and assistance <br />with any necessary revisions. The public process will include the following: <br />i) Joint Planning Commission/City Council work session. <br />ii) A developer roundtable to gather feedback from apartment developers. <br />iii) Updates to EDA (lead by City staff). <br />iv) Present Draft to Planning Commission. <br />v) Present at Public Hearing at Planning Commission. <br />vi) Present at City Council for adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />Landform Professional Services, LLC is committed to delivering high-quality planning services and working collaboratively <br />with the City of Hugo to rewrite the multifamily design guidelines.
