Landform® and Site to Finish® are registered services marks of Landform <br />Professional Services, LLC. <br />Landform was selected to help the City of <br />Rogers update the format of their existing <br />Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances. The <br />City wanted to update these ordinances <br />to make them easier to read, understand <br />and implement. The City was interested in <br />developing a form-based code; however, the <br />City budget limited the opportunity for a full <br />rewrite. Landform worked with the community <br />to develop a hybrid code that incorporates <br />many form-based elements and created a <br />limited number of new zoning districts to <br />implement the 2040 Comprehensive plan. <br />We used this opportunity to update the City <br />ordinances to be consistent with recent State <br />law changes, including how variances and non- <br />conformities are addressed. Graphics, tables, <br />and procedural icons were used wherever <br />possible to convey the policy language in <br />concise terms. <br />At the conclusion of the project, we prepared a <br />memo for the City identifying key areas of the <br />ordinance that we believed should be updated <br />based on feedback received and conflicts with <br />other sections of the City Code. <br />2020Date Completed <br />City of Rogers, MNClient <br />Rogers, MNLocation <br />Land Development <br />Regulations <br />Ordinance
