RESOLUTION NO. ______ <br /> <br />CITY OF HUGO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT AND <br />SETTING THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE <br />2025 DUCK PASS, PALMES LONG LAKE ESTATES, AND INGERSOLL AVENUE N <br />STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted September 16, 2024, a report was <br />prepared by WSB, with reference to the improvement of the following roadways: <br /> <br />• Duck Pass <br />o 136th Street from Isleton Avenue N to the west cul-de-sac <br />o 136th Street Circle North from 136th Street N to the south cul-de-sac <br />o 136th Street Court N from 136th Street N to the south cul-de-sac <br /> <br />• Palmes Lakes Estates <br />o Janero Avenue N from 122nd Street N to 125th Street Court N <br />o 125th Street Court N from Janero Avenue to the west cul-de-sac <br />o 125th Street N from 125th Street Court N to 125th Street Circle N <br />o 125th Street Circle N from 125th Street N to the north cul-de-sac <br /> <br />• Ingersoll Avenue N from 122nd Street N to north cul-de-sac <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following improvements are proposed: <br /> <br />• Roadway reclamation and overlay <br /> <br />and to assess benefited properties for all or a portion of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 429; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised by the City Engineer that said street <br />improvements are feasible, and should best be made as proposed, and the City Engineer’s report <br />to this effect has heretofore been received by Council, and filed with the City Clerk on <br />November 4, 2024; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council deemed it necessary and expedient that the City of Hugo, <br />Minnesota, construct certain improvements, to-wit: 2025 Duck Pass, Palmes Long Lake Estates, <br />and Ingersoll Avenue N Street Improvement Project, in the City as described in and in <br />accordance with the feasibility report prepared by the City Engineer; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the statute provided that no such improvements shall be made until the Council has <br />held a public hearing on such improvements following mailed notice and publication thereof in <br />the official newspaper stating time and place of the hearing, the general nature of the <br />improvement, the estimated costs thereof, and the area proposed to be assessed, in accordance <br />with the law; and <br />
