Council Meeting Minutes for November 4, 2024 <br />Page 7 of 7 <br /> <br />Community Services at Washington County at the contact number Commission Miron provided <br />earlier. <br /> <br />Weidt told Ann he appreciated her thoughtful summary, commended Petryk for doing a good job <br />advocating for the residents, and thanked Commissioner Miron for his involvement. <br /> <br />Reminder-Canvassing Board Meeting on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 <br /> <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council they were scheduled to meet as the Canvassing <br />Board on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in the Council Chambers. <br /> <br />Schedule Santa Party and Tree Lighting on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 <br /> <br />The City of Hugo’s fourth annual Santa Party was scheduled for Wednesday, December 4, 2024, <br />from 5-7 p.m. at the Peder Pedersen Pavilion. City Administrator Bryan Bear recommended <br />Council schedule a meeting if they wished to attend. <br /> <br />Miron made motion, Klein seconded, to schedule the Santa Party/Tree Lighting Ceremony for <br />Wednesday, December 4, 2024. <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Toy and Food Drive on Saturday, December 7. 2024 <br /> <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear informed Council the Hugo Fire Department would be holding a <br />Toy Drive on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Toys could be dropped off at the Hugo Fire Hall or <br />Festival Foods from 10 a.m. -2 p.m. <br /> <br />Emergency and Disaster Training Opportunity for Elected Officials <br /> <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear informed Council the Washington County Emergency <br />Management was offering training on disaster roles and responsibilities for elected officials. <br />Training would be done by MN Homeland Security and Emergency Management Director Joe <br />Kelly at the Washington County Government Center in Stillwater on three different dates: <br />December 18, January 9, and February 18. Council indicated they would let staff know the dates <br />they were available to attend. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Klein made motion, Strub seconded, to adjourn at 7:53 p.m. <br /> <br />All Ayes.
