RESOLUTION NO. ______ <br /> <br />CITY OF HUGO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION <br />ORDERING PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS TO ALL OR PORTIONS OF ROADWAYS IDENTIFIED <br />AS THE 2026 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve all or portions of 140th Street N, Fenway Boulevard N, <br />Fenway Boulevard Ct N, 130th Street N, and Farnham Avenue N, and to potentially assess the <br />benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 429. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />That the proposed improvement, called the 2026 Street Improvement Project is authorized for <br />study and that the engineer is instructed to report to the council with all convenient speed advising <br />the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost- <br />effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some <br />other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a description of <br />the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels. <br /> <br />This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Hugo on the 3rd day of March <br />2025, by a vote of Ayes and Nays. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Tom Weidt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br /> <br /> (seal)
