RESOLUTION NO. 2025-12 <br /> A RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONTRACT <br /> FOR THE 2025 BEAVER PONDS AREA STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND <br /> 2025 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT: DUCK PASS, PALMES LONG LAKE <br /> ESTATES,AND INGERSOLL AVENUE N AREA <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of Hugo previously directed the City Engineer to advertise for <br /> bids for the above-referenced project, and <br /> WHEREAS, bids were publicly received and opened on Thursday March 20, 2025. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Hugo, <br /> Minnesota, as follows: <br /> 1. All bids for the construction of the 2025 Beaver Ponds Area Street Improvement <br /> Project and 2025 Street Improvement Project: Duck Pass, Palmes Long Lake <br /> Estates, And Ingersoll Avenue N Area have been received and are tabulated on <br /> the attached summary. <br /> 2. The bid of Northwest Asphalt, Inc., in the amount of$2,077,019.43 for the <br /> construction of said improvements, is in accordance with the plans and <br /> specifications and advertisement for bids and is the lowest responsible bid. <br /> 3. The Mayor and Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br /> into a contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and <br /> on behalf of the City of Hugo. <br /> 4. The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return <br /> forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit <br /> of the successful bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a <br /> contract has been executed. <br /> Council members voting AYE: Krull, Miron, Petryk, Strub, Weidt <br /> Council members voting NAY: None <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 7th day p 20 <br /> om Weidt,Tvlayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
